BOOTSTRAP

This is my Semester Project 2, where I applied the skills I’ve developed over the past three semesters to create an auction website. The project involves building a platform where users can list items for auction and place bids on items posted by others. Upon registration, new users receive 1,000 credits to participate in the bidding process. Users can earn more credits by selling items and spend credits by purchasing them. While non-registered users can browse the listings, only registered users are allowed to place bids.

This is my project exam 1 and we were given the task of creating a blog page with an optional theme and with some mandatory points, such as: 12 posts, carousel and modal. I chose to create a food blog with recipes from my home country. In this project I was also able to show off the skills I have learned during my first year of study.

☙ About me ❧

My name is Rena Hashimi, a 34-year-old living in Oslo. I’m married, a mother to two wonderful children, and work full-time in the field of optics. In addition, I am pursuing my passion for technology by studying to become a Frontend Developer at the Noroff School of Technology and Digital Media, set to complete my program in March.

Technology, coding, web development, and design have always been my passions. After 16 years in customer service, where I honed my skills in problem-solving, communication, and understanding user needs, I decided it was time for a career shift. This pivotal decision led me to follow my dream of becoming a developer.

My first year at Noroff was incredibly rewarding, filled with practical projects and a strong foundation in coding. Now in my second year, I’ve built advanced skills and developed projects that showcase my abilities in responsive design, interactive web applications, and modern development practices. As I approach the completion of my studies, I am more motivated than ever to transition into the industry and apply my knowledge to create impactful web experiences.
